BIMTek worked on all phases of the Poole, East Quay PS refit for Wessex Water.

BIMTek scanned the existing site and produced a 3D model in Autodesk Revit.  This model was then updated as the design progressed and then used to produce construction drawings.

They key  aspects of the project included: 

​​

• replacement of 3 no. shaft driven pumps;

• removing part of building for improved ventilation and access of  the wet well;

• new MCC;

• redesigning the front of the building to improve appearance, access, parking and access to the generator.

​

Precision fabrication drawings were produced for pipework allowing it to be manufactured off site. This significantly reduced the total time required for installation to 4 days from an estimated 3 weeks.
